Safari Club International: Think you can take the same 7mm rifle used to take elk out west in Africa? Think again. A variety of bullets are required to take the game and keep you from becoming game yourself. This expert can help straighten the learning curve on choosing the bullets.

What's a PH? How do you book an African safari or fantasy hunting trip? When is the best season to go? What's there to hunt and fish for in New Zealand and Scotland? Answers are here in our first-timer's video guide, seen from the MOTV cameras that roamed the aisles of Safari Club International's (SCI) annual convention. SCI is the world's largest and most active big game hunting and conservation organization. Some 1,100 exhibitors and 22,000 attendees were present, and we've straightened the learning curve on how to book and enjoy your first fantasy big game trip, abroad. We interviewed outfitters, professional hunters, and experts from Africa, Oceania, Europe and South America. Fishing experts from Brazil, New Zealand, and Scotland and elsewhere shared secrets on the species found in their fisheries and more.
