The Single Action Shooting Society's Cowboy Action Shooter is a half-hour magazine format television program for and about the sport of Cowboy Action Shooting.™ Cowboy Action Shooter chronicles the exhilarating action of the nation’s fastest growing shooting sport phenomenon while it delves into the colorful and varied aspects of its related Western culture and history. It is a sporting show based on the backbone of the SASS National Shooting Championship Program that weaves Western history, culture and America's passion for the Old West into television's most exciting new outdoor shooting sports show.

Each week Cowboy Action Shooter takes viewers to different regions across America and chronicles the competition and the unbridled Cowboy revelry that surrounds the sport.
