Let's Go Outdoors, both the daily feature and the weekly edition, covers a wide range of topics related to the outdoors:
- Activities: where to go, what to do, what gear to use and safety tips
- Issues: conservation, research, hot topics
- Education: learn more about a variety of outdoor subjects
- Experience: Host Michael Short often gets personally involved in outdoor activities and brings his in-field experience to his listeners.
The daily feature is a short, 60-second look at current outdoor topics, often combining interviews with subject experts with some editorial comment. It runs on 16 radio stations across Alberta.
The weekly edition is a 1/2 hour, magazine format that provides more time to delve into topics of interest and including longer interviews and special features. It runs on 12 radio stations across Alberta.
Host Michael Short draws upon the expertise of specialists in the field while adding his personal enthusiasm to every program. Topics include current issues and special features.
