Brian Brinkerhoff, host of the program, has been reporting Utah?s outdoor news since 1983 when, in High School, he began writing outdoor columns in Northern Utah County?s local newspapers. He authored Best Easy Day Hikes- Salt Lake City, published by Falcon Press and has worked with numerous other statewide publications, including the Daily Herald and Deseret Morning News. He is a member of the Outdoor Writers Association of America and the Professional Outdoor Writers Registry.
