NASHVILLE, Tenn., July 25 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Ohio's Division of
Wildlife has become one of the nation's first state wildlife agencies to
begin offering their weekly television video series to a broader audience
as part of a powerful new forum developed to promote hunting, fishing,
wildlife watching, and natural resource opportunities across the country.
Beginning today, Wild Ohio will be streamed through MyOutdoorTV.com, the
world's largest internet video network for outdoor television shows, radio,
video, and conservation information.
MyOutdoorTV.com has created a special section within its site called
"State Explorer," which will provide video from various states and links to
each state wildlife agency. The section will include weekly programming,
educational videos, safety instruction, wildlife and waterways law
enforcement information, and other useful materials. Hunters, fishermen,
and boaters will even be able to purchase licenses through MyOutdoorTV.com
or make donations to the Division of Wildlife.
Shows and materials provided by the Ohio Division of Wildlife will also
be included and available for search from topical sections on the
MyOutdoorTV.com site, such as deer and turkey hunting, bass and walleye
fishing, and wild game cooking.
MyOutdoorTV.com will include the agency in marketing activities for the
site, including TV, radio, print and online advertising and promotions. The
agency will provide a link on its website to view programming at
MyOutdoorTV.com and provide articles in its quarterly Wild Ohio magazine
and e-newsletter.
"We're excited to be able to offer visitors to MyOutdoorTV.com such
high quality outdoor programming as Wild Ohio," said Chris Moise, CEO.
