Bacon Roast

Description

A venison roast seasoned with garlic, oregano, and onion salt.

  • 1 (3 to four lbs.) Venison Roast
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Parsley Flakes
  • 8 slices Bacon

Methods/steps

Rub seasonings into roast. Secure bacon strips over meat with toothpicks. Wrap meat securely in aluminum and bake at 325 for 2 and 1/2 to 3 and 1/2 hours, or until meat is tender and loses pink color.
