Wade's World Hunting: One of the only downsides to spring turkey hunting is ticks, and as the weather warms, these little bloodsuckers become more numerous and more active. Hunters should take precautions against ticks because they carry two dangerous diseases: Lyme’s disease, and Rocky Mountain spotted fever.

Here’s the best way to protect against them. Purchase a can of Coulston’s Duranon Tick Repellent, a spray that contains the active ingredient Permethrin.
