Throughout the country you'll find many-productive places to hunt rabbits. These rabbit-hunting spots provide both food and cover for rabbits:
- Green fields planted in the middles of clear cuts, which provide cover and a food resource.
- Deserted home places, offering breeding areas and cover.
- Fencerows, which give the rabbits an established route for moving from field to field.
- Abandoned railroad tracks, yet another route for movement.
- Timber cut roads or firebreaks that cut through briar fields.
- Peninsulas of land above water in flooded timber, for high ground and refuge.
