Stream Fishing Accessories (Video Included)

Wade's World Fishing: Like any fishing endeavor, stream fishing requires certain accessories to make trips more successful and fun. Following is a list of recommended accessories that will make for greater convenience and efficiency when fishing in small free-flowing waters.

  • Wading vest. Better than carrying a tackle box; hands are free; keeps everything handy.
  • Needle nose pliers. For unhooking fish, tuning lures, working on tackle, etc.
  • Sunscreen. Cover exposed skin before fishing, and replenish frequently.
  • Line clippers. Carry on a lanyard around the neck for quick access.
  • Polarized sunglasses. Helps see cruising fish and casting targets beneath the water’s surface.
  • Extra line. It’s a long hike and drive to the tacklebox.
