Ascension Outdoors

Ascension Outdoors is a Louisiana Outdoor Writers Association award winning TV show that features all aspects of a true south Louisiana outdoor experience. From all types of freshwater fishing to inshore & offshore saltwater fishing as well as hunting small game, big game and everything in between. Come experience a couple of regular guys as they enjoy the outdoors like you do.

Co-hosts Goosie Guice and Lyle Johnson - Two brothers-in-law that have enjoyed each other's friendship and company in the outdoors for over 30 years and now enjoy making Ascension Parish's TV viewers a part of that experience. Goosie is a former state duck calling champion and currently writes a column in Ascension Magazine. Lyle currently writes a weekly outdoor column for the Gonzales Weekly, writes in the East Ascension Sportsman's League newspaper and several websites. Both have won Excellence in Craft awards for their writing and TV show.
