Apricot Soy-Basted Grilled Dove (Video Included)

Wild Ohio: This grilled dove recipe is a perfect way to give into those sweet and salty cravings, with a wonderful mix of apricot preserves and soy and Worcestershire sauces.

Ingredients: 
  • Apricot Preserves
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Soy Sauce
  • Juice of Half a Lemon
  • Dove Breasts
  • Dried Apricots
Directions: 

Combine the apricot preserves, worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and lemon juice in a small bowl.

Skewer the dove breasts, alternating between bacon, dried apricots, and dove meat.

Baste the skewers in a bit of the sauce, then place on grill at medium heat. Cook for about 20 minutes or until done, flipping regularly and basting the skewers with more of the sauce on each turn.
