Grip Right for Archery Success (Video Included)
The editors of Field and Stream magazine bring this tip to you in video form. Watch it and then come back and read the details, below.
One of the biggest mistake people make when shooting a bow is gripping it incorrectly. They grab it too tight, they squeeze it which twists the bow and torques it, makes it very hard to get an accurate groove.
You want to have a slightly relaxed grip, keep your hand open slightly, so when you pull back that bow isn't twisting.
You want to find a bow like a Diamond that has a thin grip, that fits your hand well and wont twist in your hand. That will help you shoot better every time.
